Travelling in Tibet is an adventure
involving high altitude and could be
strenuous. so far, most visitors have
only minor effects from the altitude.
however, we advise specially the guests
with known heart or lungs or blood
diseases to consult the doctor before
travelling. mild headache, fever, loss
of appetite or stomach disorder can take
place before acclimatization. we advice:
drink 4 liters of water minimum a day.
Do not exhaust yourselves so much and
breath deep and take rest more than
usual. bottle water is available in each
hotels where you would overnight and in
the restaurants en route where you would
have your lunch.
Booking & Visa.
Nepal entry and re-entry visa can be
obtain at airport in Kathmandu or any
entry points in Nepal or any royal Nepal
embassy or consulate office.
all tourists visiting Tibet requires
special allen travel permit which they
obtain only by joining tours organized
by recognized travel agencies. those who
arrive in Kathmandu with a Chinese visa
issued by embassies in their countries
will find useless for entry into Tibet.
to obtain Chinese visa (normal), it
require minimum 1 week in advance from
within Kathmandu. Chinese embassy
working hours are from 10.00 hrs to
11.30 hrs every mon-wed and fri (thrice
a week only).
to book a tour, must send full passport
details (including full name as in
passport, date and place of birth,
passport no, date of issue & expiry,
profession, sex, nationality, home
address, tel no. etc) should reach us.
for visa procedure, 4 full working days
(7 days) are required with a condition
that clients should be available in
Kathmandu. normal visa fee is us$28.00
currently and urgent charge us$ 17.00
extra have to borne by the clients. for
us citizen an extra us$ 14.00 on above
fee shall be applied.

to any unavoidable circumstances
such as road blockade, flood,
snow, political unrest,
cancellation of flight, delay
arrivals, sickness or accidents.
any extra cost incurring there
of shall be borne by clients.
(in case of landslides, to over
cross them and the gap in
between, an extra vehicle may
have to be arranged. in that
case, every valued clients are
kindly requested to contribute
nominal charges for porters and
vehicle, ranging from Nepali Rs
200-400 per person. we wish
there would be no hassles as
such. besides the landslides
expenses, if our guide raised
any unjustifiable extra cost on
the way, you are kindly
requested to have a receipt from
the guide with he/her signature
so as to enable us to reimburse
accordingly. without the
receipt, reimbursement is not
possible.)
it is most advisable that
clients to have full insurance
against medical and personal
accidents risks. a cancellation
insurance is also must advised
from their home countries.
